Experience/ Skills
I have over 17 years teaching experience. I gained my CELTA teacher qualification in 2011.
Most of my work has been teaching adult learners on a one to one basis. I have also taught many younger students both at Uxbridge College and privately on a one to one basis.
I have a gift for building self-confidence in students and am empathetic and patient in empowering them to achieve their personal goals. My aim is to foster a belief that anything is possible, that we all have gifts, and that we need to develop the skills to use them to the fullest. I speak some Spanish and have worked previously in a language school in Northern Spain where I taught English to both adults and children. I am confident teaching English Online, via Whatsapp, Zoom or Skype.
